This is a word mat containing the absolute basics/ bare minimum that GCSE students need to know for the Speaking/Writing exam.
I originally designed it for students who lacked engagement, intended to be given out before study leave.

I use it for all students now as a reference sheet to put in their exercise books.

KS4 Coronation Lesson:
**Title: **Le couronnement du Roi Charles III
**Objective: **
To be able to recognise examples of the simple future within an authentic text about the King’s Coronation
Contents:
PowerPoint: Starter Task Scrabble Activity, Vocabulary Task, Tense Recognition Activity and Reading Comprehension Questions.
The text used is a slightly adapted version of a press release regarding the programme of festivities for the weekend of the Coronation.
Pupil Booklet:
Vocabulary Task, Tense Recognition Activity and Reading Comprehension Questions . The booklet can be printed on A4 or A3 paper and folded into a booklet
There is also a KS3 lesson available in my shop relating to the Coronation.
6 team/table labels named after different French cities.
These are useful for labeling tables/groups or if you are doing team games.
There are 3 with a red outline and 3 with a blue outline so you can easily split the class in half when doing a competition.
This resource is also part of a bundle made as a starter pack for NQTs.
Paris 2024 Olympics Pictograms
This resources includes the new pictograms used in the Paris 2024 Olympics.
Students match the pictogram to the sport in French and in English.

Stuednts smust find the French words in the wordsearch for the sports/events taking place during the Paris 2024 Olympics.
I have also included the answers. Ideal for a cover lesson and/or accompaniment for Dynamo 2 Moduule 5.
I have an addictional resource matching the Paris 2024 Pictograms. This included the same vocabulary and would work well together.
This is a quiz that I made to accompany the ITV documentary Paris, Greatest cities of the world.
The documentary is available on YouTube (not my upload)
The pupils can answer it as they watch or complete it as a test at the end with prizes for the highest mark. It’s great for the end of term.

GCSE Key Writing Stuctures (with infinitives)
This helpsheet includes examples of required tenses for the GCSE exam.
It includes the following tenses/moods/structures.
Present (including modal verbs)
Past Perfect
Past Imperfect
Immediate Future
Conditional
All of the structures are followed by infinitive phrases from Theme 1, 2 and 3.
